Four Fab Little Smoothie Bowls

I’ve become really obsessed with smoothie bowls this year. They’re so quick to make but they just look so dang pretty! They’re a joy to eat and really put a smile on my face, what a great way to start a day. Here I’ve put together some stunning bowls that will nourish and delight

RASPBERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL

Ingredients 

 -1 avocado
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tblsp coconut oil
- 3/4 cup frozen raspberries
- 3/4 cup water (you can use coconut water if you have it, I just use water)

 Method

1. Throw all the ingredients into a blender or thermomix and blend until silky smooth.

2. Top with your favourite toppings, or what you have on hand. I used flaked almonds, chia seeds and raspberries. 


BERRY TAHINI SMOOTHIE BOWL

Ingredients

- 1 avocado
- 1 banana
- 3 tblsp tahini
- 1/2 cup mixed berries

Method

Blend till smooth & top! I used flaked almonds, pecans, coconut & kiwi fruit to top mine.


 

CHOC BANANA SMOOTHIE BOWL

Ingredients

- 1 avocado
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tblsp cacao powder

Method

1. Place all ingredients in to a blender or thermomix and blend until smooth. I used a thermomix and blended at speed 8 for 45 seconds.

2/ Put your smoothie into a bowl and top with your favourite toppings. I used blueberries, banana, kiwi and flaked almonds.


 

SUPER GREENS SMOOTHIE BOWL

Ingredients

- 1/2 large avocado
- 1 small banana
- 2 
heaped tsps. greens powder
- 1/3 cup water
- 2/3 cup ice

* Toppings of choice *

Method

1. Place all ingredients except for toppings into a blender or thermomix and blend until silky smooth.

2. Garnish with toppings – I treated myself to strawberries, blueberries & kiwi berries, and chopped roasted mixed nuts (the crunch of these went so well!)
