Taste your way through the gluten free food options available and discover new health products and services in the market.
There will be over 50 companies on show with 12 seminars and 12 cooking demonstrations over the two days. Visitors will be able to taste new food options, discover some healthy alternatives and learn about coeliac disease and importantly how to live gluten free.
If you are there for a while, gluten free food will be available to have a snack on site along with gluten free beer and organic wine. Many companies will have tastings of their produce and there will of course be show specials to take advantage of.
Sponsor Coles will also be on hand to guide visitors to their nearest store location to purchase their favourite gluten free products.
There will even be kids activities to keep all the family happy.
The awareness and recognition of gluten free food has grown along with an understanding of coeliac disease and gluten intolerance. There are many products now in the market place as well as restaurants carrying more options for diners.
Coeliac disease affects one in 70 people many of whom go undiagnosed. The expo provides education for visitors while providing a backdrop of the many foods now available. With the proper diet, coeliac disease can be managed well.
