Perth City Farm

“Working together to create greener cities and sustainable landscapes for the future.”

Perth City Farm (PCF) is a Men of the Trees (MOTT) initiative that was founded in 1994 in conjunction with the Planetary Action Network.

PCF is located on the eastern edge of the Perth CBD on the site of a former scrap metal yard and a battery recycling plant. Remediated, the site has grown to become a Western Australian icon for environmental sustainability and community engagement.

For almost 20 years Perth City Farm has been developing relationships in Western Australia with a wide range of community, private and government organisations including:
Aids Council, ASeTTS, Atlas Iron, BHP Billiton, Building and Construction Training Fund, Central Institute of Technology, Centre for Cerebral Palsy, City of Perth, Communicare, Community First International, Curtin University, Department of Health, Dismantle, Perth Green Drinks, Josh Byrne and Associates, Kings Park, Mission Australia, MRA, North Metro PEAC, Nulsen, Polytechnic West, Open Gardens Australia, Open House Australia, Oxfam, Red Cross, St Bartholomew’s House, UWA and Volunteering WA.

Looking to the future of the Farm and furthering its commitment to developing strong and lasting relationships, Men of the Trees has formed an alliance with Green World Revolution (GWR), a new not-for-profit organisation, to manage the day-to-day operations at Perth City Farm and help transition this unique site into a vibrant hub for social enterprise with a focus on Urban Farm products and services.
