The new Yagan Square precinct was launched last month, adjoining the Perth CBD and Northbridge. Once separated by the horseshoe bridge and train line, the square has been transformed from a no-man’s-land to what’s now anticipated to be the city’s most popular hang-out. Featuring public art celebrating Australia’s aboriginal history and heroes like Yagan, it’s also home to a new market hall filled with healthy nosh to enjoy in the modern space or take away for your mid-week lunch break. With a couple of venues coming soon, here’s all you need to know about the seven new healthy hotspots in the square:

Ahi Poke

Dicing up the finest quality raw fish to go on top of a fresh bowl of greens, Ahi Poke serve up healthy bowls Hawaiian style. Making delicious bowls fresh to order, expect generous chunks of avocado, zucchini ribbons, edamame beans and more. This is one of our favourite new pit stops for a quick healthy lunch in the CBD.

Brew Ha

Once only in Subiaco and now perched on Kings Square, Brew-Ha make the perfect brew for your morning coffee ritual. Using freshly roasted and grinded 100% Arabica Beans, they only serve the premium coffee and lose leaf teas. With a cabinet or delicious fresh food to enjoy along with your coffee, we’re stoked that Brew-Ha has spread its expanded into the CBD.

Honey I’m Home

These guys have got you covered for all your gourmet honey needs, from award-winning honey to put with your tea in the morning, beeswax beauty products, honey gelato and beeswax candles to purify the air, you’ll find it all at the new outlet Honey I’m Home.

Henry Little

Sometimes, there’s nothing that hits the spot more than a crispy piece of toast and a coffee for breakfast. Henry Little go that extra mile and pimp theirs to the nines with toppings like pulled beef with sauerkraut and pomegranate, or marinated mushrooms with avocado and feta. Big El’s X The WKND

This dream team of specialty coffee brewers and chefs make some of the brightest, freshest Latin American fusion food in Perth. Their vegetarian nacho bowl is one example of the burst of colour you’ll find on your plate at Big El’s, featuring tri-coloured corn chips layered with guac, cilantro salsa, chipotle mayo and more good things that you’ll have to sample for yourself.
