First up, briefly tell us a bit about yourself and what you do!

Natalie is one of Australia’s most versatile entertainers, achieving success as an actress, musician, presenter and author.

What time do you wake up most days and how many hours of sleep do you aim for?

Anywhere between 5:30 and 7 depending if I work out or the kids wake me up.

What’s your morning routine to set you up for a great day?

Alarm set for 5:30 am and head straight to Pilates or yoga. I listen to a motivation podcast on the way (and am in LOVE with Sara Blondin from The Live Awake project). Then do a quick 5-10 min mediation before the class starts.

Describe a typical day of eating for you.

My days are always so varied so it depends if I am at home or away. If I’m at home I usually start the day with some warm water and apple cider vinegar which is a fab tonic for digestion and bloating. It does have a strong smell and intense taste, but I am used to it now. I recently bought a Nutribullet and I love it! I love a good green smoothie.
Throughout the day I do try to eat as many wholefoods as possible but sometimes when travelling it isn’t as easy. I eat dinner at 5:30pm with the kids so I don’t go to bed with a full tummy.

Tell us about your daily beauty routine! What are your non-negotiables for looking and feeling your best?

I really take care of my skin. I cleanse, use serums, sunscreen and eye cream.

Do you have an evening wind-down ritual?

It’s usually a shower with the kids, read them books, do meditation with them and then if they go to bed well, hubby and I usually watch some TV. That doesn’t always happen! Apart from that I do my own meditation and go to bed around 9:30pm.

Your absolute favourite healthy cafe in Melbourne is?

Green on Church St Brighton. Absolutely delicious everything! It’s where I became addicted to….wait for it…. Soy Chai latte with honey and turmeric Extra HOT!!!

Best place to get a green juice or smoothie in Melbourne?

I love Holy Bowly in Hampton, you can’t go wrong with anyone of their juices or smoothies.

Favourite farmers market or healthy place to shop.

Leaf, it is convenient and super fresh.

What’s your fitness routine & favourite way to get sweaty and where’s your go-to?

I have always loved Pilates and KX Pilates is my go to. It’s more cardio based, always different and never boring. Great for the core and mind.

I also recently got into Yoga and I Love it. I love Ashtanga and Yin. Both have helped me to be in the moment and quieten the mind. It has been a great addition to my meditation

If you could only wear one brand of activewear for the rest of your life it would be…

PE Nation. I could only have this brand in my wardrobe and be set for life!

What’s the one beauty or wellness treatment you can’t live without? And your favourite place to have it done?

Ultherapy. It is basically a non-surgical facelift! Non-invasive, no downtime, and has had 20 years of clinical trials. It’s an ultrasound machine that stimulates collagen, lifting and tightening the foundation layer of the skin. It is incredible! There are many imposters out there so I would recommend to go to their website to find your nearest clinician.

Are you into any woo-woo wellness trends?

I have always had a fascination with many but I have really been drawn to crystals this year. I visited the Crystal Castle in Byron and I felt such an overwhelming sense of calm and inner peace. I have found a real interest in Buddhism. I was also given a beautiful piece by Frau Jewellery with every piece bought they donate 10% to the Cancer Council which I love. I believe in Mediums too (the real ones).

You’ve got a big event in 7 days time that you need to look incredible for. What’s your plan of attack to look & feel your absolute best?

Up my exercise regime, have a facial, nails and tan.

What’s your dream wellness vacay?

A place to meditate, do yoga, eat wholefoods, have massages, read and smell the fresh air.

And lastly… do you have any top secret tips you use to keep looking / feeling great?

The basics/ eat well/ sleep and water/exercise and beauty…… it’s all about balance and selfcare. Exercise, for me that is yoga and Pilates, water. But I never drink enough. Meditation, sleep and good times with family and friends
