It's so easy to get caught up in the daily grind Monday - Friday. There is so much to do, and so much to achieve, so when it comes to the weekends, I really cherish this time. For me, the weekends are all about connecting in with myself, my family and ensuring that I spend the time preparing for the coming week. My Saturdays are normally filled with exploring this beautiful part of the world we live in, and discovering new businesses to buy fresh produce at. Sundays are for preparing the meals for my family for the week. This weekend, why don't you try something - or in this case, somewhere new, to do your produce shopping. I've listed a few of my favourite places to not only shop at, but experience the organic lifestyle at.

Organic Shops

• Loose Produce - Como

One of a kind in Perth. Think of the candy bar at the movies but for healthy people. You will find all sorts of nuts, seeds, flours, superfoods and more in scoopable goodness. Just in case that was not enough, there is a kick ass café with all sorts of Mylks available for your coffee or smoothies. And to make an awesome place even better - there is a yoga studio attached. • Manna Wholefoods – South Fremantle

This place is an institute in its own right. Head in for a coffee or delicious treat, and lose yourself in the expansive range of products they have in store. Take a seat in the cafe and immerse yourself in the buzz from the hive that it is in South Fremantle.  _{Photo Cred: mannawholefoods}

• My Health Market – Cottesloe What a reputation these guys have. It goes far and wide. They have one of the best ranges of organics in Perth plus they have a Naturopath on hand to help you with your needs. I don’t know anywhere else of this calibre giving that service. This is a must visit, especially if you're looking for some advice on products or how to live a more healthy, natural life. Make sure you grab a coffee and try one of the raw, organic or gluten free treats they have on offer.

• Dunn & Walton – Doubleview These guys are as fresh as nectarines in summer. With this healthy café and an exclusive range of hand selected organics this place is on point. Loving the vibes and community feel they are creating. I am proud to say this is my local.

• Natures Harvest - Cottesloe Located on the popular Napoleon Street in Cottesloe, this cafe and health food store is the ultimate stop for a juice, coffee or green tea latte in between shopping. This red brick space is beautiful and they have all the products you will usually struggle to find all in one place. Plus they have one of the best massage therapists I have ever come across. Be sure to book in with her if you need the ultimate relaxation experience.

• The Raw Kitchen - Fremantle One of Perth’s fav - and it's easy to see why. This reconverted warehouse is a beautiful, open sun drenched space. The food here is simply delicious. If you haven't dabbled into the world of raw food, then put this on your must visit list. The dairy free ice cream is to die for. The Raw Kitchen also has a yoga studio and holds raw workshops regularly for those wanting to learn more.

• The Organic Circle – Armadale If you happen to be located in the foothills of Perth you are in for a treat. Take your time and go chill with this crew down in Armadale. Great range of products and treats you will never forget.

• Organic on Charles – North Perth. One of the founding organic shops here in Perth. They are a great outlet for anything good and green and they have the bonus of being located in such a central location. They do a great job of providing all the seasonal fruits and veggies for the local community. Love your work guys.
