Whether you’re a bona fide instagrammer looking for your next commission, or an everyday enthusiast just hoping for a healthy meal that’s as beautiful as it is delicious, read on. We’ve searched high and low for the healthiest, most aesthetically pleasing dishes for your viewing pleasure;
Raw Pad Thai
The Raw Kitchen
There’s not much that leaves the chef’s magic and capable hands at The Raw Kitchen that wouldn’t look good in a picture, but a special mention must go to their Raw Pad Thai. This generous pile of zucchini noodles will have you scratching your head at how they managed to make something 100% raw-vegan, taste not too far off a cooked Pad Thai. Topped-off with peanuts, mint and a delicious creamy dressing, it tastes even better than it looks.
Smoothie Bowls
Natures Harvest
From your classic ‘Acai Bowl’ to Nature’s Harvest’s specialty ‘Pink Pataya Bowl’ and the ‘Bowl of Life,’ the breakfast bowls at Nature’s Harvest a great healthy option to cool you off on a hot summer morning. Decorated like a mandala, with fruit, nuts, seeds, raw granola and any topping of your choice, their smoothie bowls win a well-deserved spot on the most picture-perfect health foods in Perth.
Macro Bowl
Pearth Organic Kitchen
Buddha Bowls are a highly hashtagged food on Instagram and for good reason; colour coordinating your food into separate compartments is strangely satisfying...and everyone’s on board, including Pearth Organic Kitchen. Their macro bowl is packed full of everyone’s favourite ingredients, from brown rice, seasonal veggies, dukkha, hummus, avo and an optional poached egg, there’s never been a better excuse to mix food groups.
Banana Bread
Flora & Fauna
This healthy Northbridge fixture is absolutely thriving on Instagram and it’s no surprise, as everything on their menu is decorated to the nines. You wouldn’t think Banana Bread to be the most Instagram-worthy item on a menu, but Flora & Fauna’s version most definitely is. Brimming with flowers, fresh fruit, fresh herbs and chocolate sauce, there’s a much higher ratio of decorations to actual banana bread on this dish and we’re not complaining.
Raw Enchiladas
Heaven Raw Café
With tranquil outdoor seating, shaded with trees and a very extensive menu of delicious raw vegan options, Heaven Raw Café have a lot going for them, particularly their Raw Enchiladas. As one of the most highly instagrammable options on their menu, one look at it and you’ll be burning down the road in search of this colourful raw creation.
Shakshuka
Kinfolk Café
This beaut’ little cottage garden in Mundaring serves organic whole-food, with a home-cooked vibe and while they change up their menu based on what’s in season, most of what you’ll fine at Kinfolk Café is worth a picture. Special mention to their Shakshouka with yoghurt and harissa, a hearty brekky for those cooler mornings that you won’t want to go past.
Kale super-salad
Little Shop of Plenty
With a beautiful veggie garden in Maylands and plenty of outdoor seating, The Little Shop of Plenty offers endless picture-worthy produce, including their extremely photogenic Kale super-salad. Served with marinated beetroot, carrot, red cabbage, crispy activated organic pepitas, sesame, goji ginger dressing and paired with organic seed crackers, this popular dish is as abundant and healthy as it looks.
